Choosing a Peel:

Glycolic: stimulates collagen growth more effectively than any of the other peels. It's small molecule allows it to slip beneath the epidermis to reach the collagen fibers below and results in 15%-25%  thickening over 12 weeks. Glycolic acid generally causes little or no visible peeling.

Lactic: works on the surface of the skin to treat tone, texture, and pigmentation. The Lactic acid molecule works to pull moisture into the cells, and exfoliate surface cells which helps to perfect the skin's surface and restore the skin's natural glow.

Glycolac: With a combination of Glycolic (25%) with Lactic (35%), it provides hydration and tone improvements of the Lactic, with the increased collagen stimulation of the glycolic. It is generally well tolerated because the lactic and glycolic work on different levels or the skin.

Salicylic: a great kertolytic which means it helps loosen the bonds between skin cells to promote exfoliating. It is the only hydroxy acid which is oil soluble which allows it to penetrate into clogged pores. It can be used more frequently than the other peels without must risk for irritation.

BHA+: Hands down the best peel for acne and oily skin. You should expect some visible flaking of the skin 2 days after using the peel. This will help with active acne blemishes as well as old acne marks, and a variety of other skin problems.

I purchased this sunscreen solely based on high ratings from the Environmental Working Group review. I try to use only oil-free sunscreen. Much to my surprise another product sold to me by my dermatologist (Murad) didn't fare well in the Environmental Working Group review so I thought I'd try this sunscreen. I am troubled with Melasma and need to wear sunscreen under my foundation. Although the packaging says that it is non-greasy, that is definitely not the case with me. Perhaps it is because my skin is oily but the sunscreen really adds a layer of slick. This product does produce a white color after applied but the suggestion I read earlier from another reviewer, that is, to add some foundation to color the lotion before applying sounds like a good one(I wear mineral powder so that won't work for me). It is has a heavier consistency than the oil-free Murad sunscreen. The scent is pleasant and very subtle. As long as it blocks the UVA/UVB rays I can live with what I perceive as, the two drawbacks of this product.

We created thinkbaby and thinksport sunscreen to address the growing concern of toxic chemicals leaching from consumer products. The formulation that we use has the highest level of zinc oxide (25%) as our active ingredient. The way that we formulate our zinc oxide produces a broad-spectrum solution for UVA and UVB. While the sunscreen does not go on perfectly clear like a chemical sunscreen or a sunscreen utilizing nano particles, it does go on surprisingly well. We found most of the other mineral based sunscreens to be sticky upon application. If we had to characterize the sunscreen, I would describe it as chalky. We're not saying that chalky is necessarily better than sticky, but the folks that have reviewed our product seem to prefer it for this reason. The sunscreen also falls into the category of "very water resistant". This is the highest level of water resistance as described by the FDA. The formulation can come out of the tube a little quick, so be mindful of this when squeezing the tube.



The formulas for thinkbaby and thinksport are identical. People often ask why we did this. From our past experience with our feeding sets, we realized that 5 year olds would likely object to their parents applying something with "baby" in the title. So we developed thinksport version as well. As an avid endurance athlete, I can tell you first hand that the sunscreen has provided me protection on countless hours of cycling in the Texas sun. We have also had a ton of positive responses from folks that have very sensitive skin or burn easily. When properly applied our sunscreen is a cutting edge solution for providing sun protection. But we always recommend staying out of the sun or wearing proper clothing. Because I have never used a product with witch hazel or rose petals this was a completely different product as to a normal toner with alcohol. Compared to what I have used in the passed this is very very easy on the skin it has a strong rose fragrents if you like the smell of Rose this is for you I wish I had went with the lavander.

i work in a bar too many nights a week. my feet are usually a mess.
